“WHO IS ON NEXT?” CELEBRATES 10 YEARS

The “Who is On Next?” fashion scouting project, which is organized by Alta Roma in collaboration with Vogue Italy, has reached it’s 10th year. The project has been responsible for helping to launch the careers of over 100 designers since it’s beginning in 2005
An exclusive exhibition was presented in Rome at the Museo di Roma Palazzo Braschi will run from from July 15th to September 11th and celebrates those who represent excellence in design and talent, the new generation of fashion Made in Italy and traces the history of the contest and the creatives who took part.

The winners of the 1st edition of “Who is On Next?” in 2005, alumni of the Accademia di Costume e di Moda; Tommaso Aquilano, together with Roberto Rimondi, and Albino D’Amato exhibited.
Also on display are the creations of Arnoldo][Battois, Angelos Bratis, Arthur Arbesser, Au Jour Le Jour, Barbara Casasola, Benedetta Bruzziches, Bionda Castana, Charline De Luca, CO|TE, Coliac, Comeforbreakfast, Cortomoltedo, Daniele Michetti, De Couture, Esme Vie, Futuro Remoto, Gabriele Colangelo, Giancarlo Petriglia, Gianni Serra, Greta Boldini, Ilaria Nistri, Jerome C. Rousseau, KA-MO, LedaOtto, Leitmotiv, Marco Bologna, Marco de Vincenzo, MarskinRyyppy by Nicole Brundage, Marta Ferri, Max Kibardin, Memento Duo, MSGM, Nicholas Kirkwood, Paolo Errico, Paul Andrew, Paula Cademartori, Quattromani, San Andrès Milano, Sara Lanzi, Stella Jean, SuperDuper Hats, Suzanne Susceptible and Zanchetti.

Arnoldo][Battois, finalist in the 2010 edition, presented the iconic bag Elefante plissè, in mauve grey python with steel accessories, and Bauci, a doctor bag in mosaic of yellow pony and black leather, from the new collection F/W 2015.

This tenth edition saw the crowning of three winners.

The bags by Corion which won the prize in the accessories category were greeted with resounding applause on the catwalk thanks to their immaculate artisanship coupled with the choice of only the most innovative skins and an extraordinary level of technical workmanship.

The jury also selected the Daizy Shely brand as a prize winner thanks to the creativity and enormous potential apparent in the womenswear collection created by the young, talented Aliza Shalali Deizy.
