Texworld, produced by Lenzing and Messe Frankfurt, Inc. in partnership, is a bi-annual trade show for textiles, fabrics, accessories and more,. It’s also one of the world’s largest sourcing events for clothing fabric buyers, designers, research & product development specialist, merchandisers and overseas sourcing professionals. Trade shows like this are great opportunities to meet directly with a broad range of manufacturers from around the world and make face-to-face business deals and partnerships as well as discovering new developments in textiles and trends.
Texworld is starting this year’s second USA edition on July 22 and for three days will also be hosting a series of seminars that emerging designers can gain plenty of worthwhile benefit from thanks to the wealth of insider knowledge from experienced professionals. Of particular interest is a seminar on “How to Market Your Fashion Business in Today’s Cluttered World” presented by Melissa Hall, Founder & Creative Strategist of The Emerging Designer, for advice on how to stand out of the crowded scene with tactics and best practices.
