ITS 2014 ACCESSORIES + JEWELRY WINNERS

ITS ACCESSORIES
The collections of ITS ACCESSORIES contestants included beautiful leatherwork and woodwork and the judging panel consisted of experts in these areas such as Isabella Zegrini of Christian Dior Haute Couture Accessories, Johnny Coca the Design Director of Leather Goods, Shoes and Accessories at CELINE, Elena Ghisellini – a Leather Goods Designer, Valentina Maggi the Director of the Design Practice at Floriane de St. Pierre and footwear designer Nicholas Kirkwood.

The Accessories Collection of the Year awards € 5,000 towards a collection to the presented at ITS 2015 out of
competition. The same recipient was also assigned the Modamont Award that will offer him/her visibility at the
16-18 September 2014 edition of Modamont, the International trimmings and components show for fashion and
design. The award was won by Mirja Pitkaart, Estonia

The YKK Award awarded €10,000 plus an interview in Dazed&Confused’s upcoming October issue to Ivana Damjanovic, Serbia for her wonderful, shiny and matte, womb-like bags.
Ivana also won the Eyes On Talents Award of €3,000 and a featured profile communication to all Eyes on Talents member brands

YKK Special Award of €1,000 + an opportunity to display the winning collection at the YKK Showroom in London to
promote their work to the public went to Takafumi Arai, Japan
Takafumi also won the Vogue Talents Award and will receive a publication on vogue.it of a photo shoot and interview as well as a dedicated feature in the supplement to Vogue Italia released in September

The ITS JEWELRY contest, which had SWAROVSKI as main partner had five judges headed by Ute Schumacher the Vice President of the Design Center Headquarters of Swarovski Professional, Manish Arora – Fashion Designer, Céline Cousteau Founder and Executive Director of
CauseCentric Productions and Vicky Sarge of VICKISARGE.

They awarded the SWAROVSKI Jewelry Award of €10,000 plus a 6-month internship at the Swarovski HQ in Wattens, Austria to

Samsung GALAXY Award
The Samsung GALAXY Award was assigned taking into consideration the votes of all four juries relevant to the four
competing areas of ITS 2014, that is, FASHION, ACCESSORIES, ARTWORK and JEWELRY with input from a panel
of Samsung representatives including Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Samsung Electronics Mobile
Communication Division.

The Samsung GALAXY Award of €10,000 was awarded to Leonie Barth, Germany for her handbag design
