Fashion Scout Paris have announced the emerging designers for their Paris AW 2015 Showroom event.
The twenty two designers are from all around the world and were specially selected by FashionScout’s industry experts.
Daniela Barros a young Portuguese graduate of “EMP” fashion school in 2008. Daniela has successfully participated in several competitions among which she earned the first place at “WHO’s Next Blog” (Paris pret-à-porter) female collection in 2012, second place at Modtissimo in 2007
Dioralop are a Croatian duo; Andreja, who obtained a degree at Faculty of Textile and Technology in Zagreb/Croatia and graduated from Central St. Martins College of Art and Design in 2009 specialising in womenswear, whilst expanding knowledge interning at Alexander McQueen studio. Maja is an architect and print designer, with strong sense of texture and style.
Gyo Yuni Kimchoe Gyo Kim and Yuni Choe are designers behind the label GYOYUNI KIMCHOE. Both from Korea, met in New York City where Gyo Kim started studying fashion at the renowned Parsons School of Design. They moved to London for Yuni Choe to start studying at the distinguished Ravensbourne College of Art London, and Gyo Kim continued at prestigious Central St. Martins.
Injury is the label of Sydney-based fashion designer Eugene Leung who graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of New South Wales. The name INJURY comes from his days of graffiti before he taught himself fashion design and tailoring.
J Moon is the London-based womenswear label of designer Jinhee Moon, a graduate of the London College of Fashion in 2014.
James Kelly a Royal College of Art graduate, says of his collection: “I am excited for autumn/winter 2015. The idea is about a girl following a lost love, wandering the streets alone: romantic, fresh, sombre,”.
Joao Melo Costa is from Portugal and graduated from CITEX in December 2011. In March 2012 he presented his first collection at Portugal Fashion, earning him a nomination for best new talent in the Fashion Awards Portugal.
Lucilla Gray Lucilla Gray graduated from Massey University, New Zealand in 2014.
Minju Kim Minju Kim presented her graduation collection ‘BE COVER’ at SHOW2013. She studied fashion design at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Antwerp.
Napsugar – Selected by Dolce & Gabbana for their Milan-based Spiga2 multi-brand shop and highlighted by Suzy Menkes in her famously critic articles, Napsugar are continuing to progress and have appeared in 24 luxury multi-brand shops (Napsugar Bittera). The brand’s leading designer is going against conventions as technological innovation is becoming the main feature.
Quoi Alexander a graduate of Central Saint Martin’s.
Fashion Scout will show these bright new fashion design talents in their Paris AW15 Showroom running from the 5th – 10th March 2015.
The Showroom is conveniently located in the heart of the fashionable Marais district. A firm staple of the Paris Fashion Week Schedule the Fashion Scout Paris Showroom is frequented by leading UK and International Press and Buyers.
The showroom is open daily from 10.00 – 19.00, closing at 17.00 on the 10th March. Attendees of the showroom have recently included; Anna Wintour, Hamish Bowles, International Vogue, International Elle, LOVE Magazine, Interview Magazine, Joyce, Opening Ceremony, Dover Street Market, Colette, Selfridges, 10 Corso Como, Luisa Via Roma and many many more.
