Christopher Shannon presented his AW15 collection at London Collections: Men this weekend and was well received as he further establishes his name and brand. His theme for his latest collection seemed to be of the financial struggles a young designer faces while trying to produce a high quality collection and all that it involves.
Shannon is a graduate of the Central St Martins MA Menswear course and was awarded a scholarship under the late Professor Louise Wilson.
He launched his Christopher Shannon Menswear label in 2008 and has grown his fan base steadily His collections are now stocked by top outlets around the world, such as Harvey Nichols, IT, Opening Ceremony, 10 Corso Como and Space Mue. He also has showrooms in London ( Concrete Projects 4th Floor, 135 Curtain Road, London, EC2A 3BX ) and Paris (Le Loft, Off 28, rue Saint Antoine, Impasse Guéménée, 3 Cour Bérard. )
The success of this young designer is can be accredited mainly to his excellence in tailoring and his original take on modern menswear.
